Why this center matters

Not just a building. A future-shaping platform.

The Multiplex changes the economics and reach of GDP’s work. Instead of renting temporary spaces and moving people from place to place, GDP now has a permanent Mombasa home for repeated, high-impact programs.

That means more youth can attend summits. More women can access training and support. More leaders can be equipped. More participants can sleep safely on site, eat together, learn together, and return home with tools they can use.

The result: shared partnership becomes infrastructure — and infrastructure becomes long-term empowerment.

01

Assemble from everywhere

Throughout the year, the Multiplex gives people a place to gather from across East Africa — and as far as the United States — for conferences, summits, training, and shared purpose.

Kenya · Uganda · East Africa · United States
02

Train deeply

Classrooms and meeting spaces support mentorship, leadership, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and life-skills development.

03

Build continuity

Programs no longer depend on temporary venues. The same hub can host summits, trainings, conferences, and follow-up support year after year.

Empowerment in action

What happens inside the Multiplex

The Multiplex is a living campus for practical empowerment: youth discovery, women’s leadership, caregiver training, trauma-informed support, shared meals, safe lodging, and community connection.

From the field

Watch GDP’s impact in motion

No staged story. These are the rooms, faces, conversations, construction milestones, and gatherings that show the Multiplex becoming a living platform for empowerment.

One campus. One rhythm. Many doors of opportunity.

Participants can arrive, register, eat, sleep, learn, meet with mentors, join workshops, and return to their communities from the same trusted location. That continuity is what turns a conference into a pathway.

Stewardship in plain view

Permanent, accountable, and built to last.

GDP’s strength is not only that it gives assistance. GDP shows up, stays, builds, trains, feeds, mentors, and walks with people through long-term local relationships.

The Multiplex is a visible expression of that stewardship: a permanent Mombasa platform now serving youth, women, leaders, and families across Kenya, Uganda, and the wider East Africa network.
