Samuel arrived at GDP’s partner home in Nairobi at age four, after his family could no longer care for him. Today, at 19, he is preparing for university — and spending his weekends mentoring younger children in the same home where he grew up. “I want to give them what this place gave me,” he says. “A future they didn’t know was possible.”
