A Story of Excellence!
In the vibrant city of Nairobi, Kenya, lies the bustling slums of Kibera and Mathare, where thousands of spirited youth strive for a brighter tomorrow despite facing tough challenges.
In the heart of East Africa, where communities struggle to access clean drinking water and vulnerable populations face daily challenges, a beacon of hope shines bright – The Good Samaritan Project. This incredible initiative started by the Global Development Project (GDP) is committed to improving the lives of those in need, particularly women, orphans, and children with special needs, who’re living in extremely difficult environments.
In many parts of East Africa, women, orphans, and children with special needs are often marginalized and overlooked. GDP recognizes the unique challenges these individuals face and is committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. From educational programs to medical assistance, this project is a lifeline for those who are often the most vulnerable in society.
One of the most pressing issues in East Africa is the lack of access to clean drinking water. Communities are forced to rely on contaminated sources, leading to a myriad of health problems and hardships. The Good Samaritan Project is one of GDP’s means of tackling this crisis head-on, implementing sustainable solutions to ensure that every individual has access to safe and clean water. Through innovative water purification systems and community outreach programs, this project is making a tangible difference in the lives of countless individuals.
GDP relies on the support of generous donors and volunteers to continue its vital work. Whether you choose to make a financial contribution, donate your time and skills, or simply spread the word about this incredible initiative, every little bit helps. By joining forces with GDP, you can be a part of something truly transformative and impactful.
Ultimately, the goal of the GDPK is to improve the quality of life of those in need.

GDP understands the importance of sustainability and integrates it into every aspect of their projects, from conception to implementation. These projects include the construction of multi-purpose complexes that can facilitate schools, health centers, libraries, training centers, churches, and youth centers.
Additionally, we are also dedicated to providing educational services, leadership training, and other services to support the overall development of the community. GDPK also aims to improve the quality of life for people living in impoverished and underdeveloped areas, by focusing on environmentally friendly practices, and ensuring that our projects have a positive impact on both people and the planet.

In a world where gender equality and women’s empowerment are crucial to achieving sustainable development, organizations like GDP are stepping up to make a difference. GDP, a leading non-profit organization, is dedicated to empowering women in East Africa through a variety of programs aimed at providing educational resources, support, and training to help women reach their full potential.
Women’s empowerment is not just an afterthought for us – it is a fundamental human right and a key driver of economic growth and social progress. When women are empowered, they are more likely to participate in the workforce, earn higher incomes, and invest in their families and communities. Empowered women are also better able to make decisions about their own lives and contribute to the development of their societies.
GDP’s commitment to women’s empowerment in East Africa is evident in its wide range of programs designed to support and uplift women in the region. From providing access to quality education and vocational training to offering financial literacy and entrepreneurship workshops, GDP is dedicated to equipping women with the skills and resources they need to succeed.
One of GDP’s flagship programs is its Women’s Empowerment Centers, which serve as safe spaces for women to access educational resources, receive mentorship and support, and participate in skills-building workshops. Currently, GDP is building a 100,000 sq ft multi-complex center that will facilitate the training spaces to support our Women Empowerment Programs. These centers play a crucial role in empowering women to break free from the cycle of poverty, abuse, and discrimination.
In addition to its on-the-ground programs, GDP also works to connect women in East Africa with a wide network of opportunities, including scholarships, job placements, and access to microfinance services. It’s so crucial to invest in the future leaders and change-makers of tomorrow. At GDP, we firmly believe in the power of the youth and their ability to shape a better future for Kenya. That’s why we have developed Youth Empowerment Programs (YEP) that are designed to equip young Kenyans with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to thrive in today’s society.
Our YEPs are not just about providing theoretical knowledge; they are about empowering young individuals to realize their full potential. Through a combination of mentorship, skills training, and practical workshops, we aim to instill in them a sense of purpose and direction. By nurturing their talents and fostering their passions, we are laying the foundation for a generation of proactive and engaged citizens.
The impact of empowering the youth goes beyond individual growth. When young people are equipped with the right tools and opportunities, they are more likely to contribute positively to their communities. By investing in their education, entrepreneurship, and leadership skills, we are not only shaping their future but also the future of Kenya as a whole.
We invite all stakeholders – from government bodies to private organizations, from educators to parents – to join hands in supporting our YEPs. Together, we can create a network of support and opportunities that will enable the youth to thrive and succeed. By working collaboratively, we can amplify the impact of our efforts and create a lasting legacy for generations to come. Find out how you can support or be a volunteer with GDP! Let’s make a difference, together!
Access to clean water is a fundamental human right and a crucial aspect of sustainable development. Unfortunately, millions of people around the world, particularly in developing countries like Kenya, lack access to safe and clean water. This is where the Global Development Project seeks to step in. Our organization is dedicated to investing in and implementing clean water projects in Kenya, with a special focus on orphanages.
Orphanages are one of the most vulnerable populations in developing countries, and access to clean water is essential for their health and well-being. Without clean water, these children are at a higher risk of waterborne diseases, which can be life-threatening. By providing access to clean water, we are not only improving their health but also giving them the opportunity to focus on their education and other activities, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty.
Our clean water projects in Kenya involve building and rehabilitating water infrastructure, such as wells, boreholes, and water storage tanks. The impact of our clean water projects goes beyond just providing access to safe water. Having access to clean water allows communities to engage in income-generating activities, such as agriculture and small businesses, leading to economic growth and self-sufficiency.
Without question, the Global Development Project and its partners, are dedicated to investing in and developing clean water projects in Kenya, with a specific focus on those who are the most vulnerable and underserved. Our goal is to ensure that every child has access to safe and clean water, improving their health, education, and overall well-being. Through our projects, we are not only changing lives but also creating a sustainable future for the communities we so proudly serve.
